We started the week off with a bang doing a "stumble through" of Magical Mystery Tour. This we very valuable especially for our lead Tim June to help him get a sense of the arc of the ballet, where it starts and where it finishes, and what is required of him throughout. It was also eye opening for the dancers to see where they needed to work on articulation of certain sequences of movement and their stamina! For the men especially, this is not and easy dance to get through!
On Thursday, we spent the entire day in the beautiful Scottish Rite Cathedral Theatre doing a photo shoot for Motionwear. This was especially enjoyable because it reunited us with the brilliant photographer Drew Endicott who has been taking pictures of Dance Kaleidoscope dancers for 21 years!
On Friday I decided to begin working again on the Sinatra show that we will be premiering in December. We spent some time remembering the previously choreographed sequences of "Come Fly With Me" and were able to add some more choreography. By the end of the day the dancers' brains were full to bursting, but we got almost all the way to the end!
