Last night we held our annual fundraiser, Kaleidoscope of Dance at the Hyatt Hotel downtown.  About 400 guests attended, and were treated to an exciting night out on the town.  Upon arrival at the "red carpet" they were met by paparazzi and a politically incorrect Joan Rivers "dishing" what they were wearing.  As hors d'oeuvres were served, the guests were able to peruse the large selection items in the silent auction.

Next a call into the ballroom marked the start of the performance.  The DK dancers performed the Emperor Waltz by Johann Strauss II elegantly dressed in tails and evening dresses.  Next came a delicious dinner followed by a live auction and then dancing on the ballroom floor.  All in all it added up to a truly memorable evening, thanks to the hard work and effort put in by the committee from the DK board and the DK staff.  This annual fundraiser is a key player in keeping DK fiscally sound and able to continue our operations in the black.  Many thanks to all those who attended and donated cash or items to the event.
