Stage-header

Shakespeare has never been so cool!

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.
     As You Like It Act 2, scene 7, 139–143

David Hochoy is choreographing a new, thoroughly contemporary take on the classic Romeo and Juliet. He will contrast Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture with striking movement.

Guest choreographer Norman Walker is creating a new dance for DK, set to Shakespeare's Sonnets and music by Indianapolis composer Frank Felice. This concert promises to be an exciting, fresh look at William Shakespeare's most beloved play and his glorious poetry.
