What a fantastic two performances we just had on Friday and Saturday night at Clowes Hall! For me it was a dream come true performing with the great musicians of the ISO, and a pinnacle of DK's artistic journey and pursuit of excellence. The dancers were awesome in their passion and commitment to every detail and nuance of the production, and everyone rightly received a rousing standing ovation both nights. |

We returned home on Monday after a beautiful week in Ashland. We were unfortunately delayed for three hours flying out of Portland, but miraculously they held our connecting flight in Chicago, and a very weary band of dancers arrived in Indy at 1AM on Tuesday morning! With only one day of rest we plunged back into rehearsals on Wednesday, and on Friday had our studio dress rehearsal with our new conductor Sean Newhouse observing. This is a very exciting time for all of the dancers, and for me, I feel as though I have waited 16 years for this to happen, since Scheherazade was choreographed in 1992.
